Welcome to my blog! I’m Kristin, a former real estate lawyer, now a mostly-stay-at-home mom of The Four Kids. I’ve been married to my husband Doug for 12 years; we met in high school, but never dated until after graduation. I was born and raised in Maine, went to college in New York and law school in Boston, and returned to live life “the way it should be” after law school (ok, really because I couldn’t find a job in Boston, but still, I wouldn’t trade this life here for anything).
I spend an inordinate amount of time at ice hockey rinks and baseball fields, and in my car driving kids to and from public school and preschool. I do laundry almost every single day of the week and I drink too much coffee. I love to read, scrapbook, take photos with my Canon Rebel XSi and spend time with friends. I may or may not spend too much time playing Angry Birds. This blog is my place to talk about what I love and don’t always like about being a mom, about what moves me and what I could do without. I hope you’ll read and comment; I love meeting new people.
